ADDING A COMING SOON & PRIVATE EXCLUSIVE LISTING

Use this portal to share your private exclusives and upcoming listings with other Long & Foster agents prior to entering in the MLS. All Long & Foster agents can search the portal by town, zip code, bedrooms, price range and other variables to look for listings that may work for their buyers. You can also setup a search that will alert you when matching listings come on the market. Before entering your first listing, please view these simple rules for adding listings to this portal.

ENTERING A LISTING

Below you will find everything you need to know about adding a listing to this Long & Foster private listing portal. It was designed to be fast and easy to use! Read through the instructions below to get started. Just click the + icons for details. Then click "Create Non-MLS Listing" button to enter a listing. ALWAYS BEGIN YOUR LISTING ENTRY FROM THIS PAGE ON THE PORTAL...

HOW TO ENTER A LISTING:

Simply click on the "CREATE NON-MLS LISTING" button on this "Add a Listing" page to enter your details. This takes you to the listing manager in MoxiWorks so you must be logged in to your account to use it. As you begin to enter your listing details, you will notice that only a few fields are mandatory, so you can keep it very simple or choose to add more details.

PROPERTY INFO: Begin by entering the fields shown. The ones marked with an asterisk are MANDATORY which include: MLS name, property type, price and a title for the listing. The comments and virtual tour fields are optional but recommended. You can also click on MORE FIELDS for additional options if you want to provide more information.

LISTING INFO:

Public Visibility Settings - Make sure all 3 arrows are marked green.

Location Information - The property address is the only mandatory information. All other fields are optional.

School Information - All fields are optional.

CO-LISTER INFORMATION: You have the option to enter a co-lister, if relevant.

AMENITIES INFO: All amenity fields are optional.

OPEN HOUSES: If you choose to do an open house for L&F agents, you can publish the date and time so it appears on the listing.

VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSES: This section allows you to add a date, time and a link in the listing so Long & Foster agents can join you online for a live virtual open house.

Once you have finished entering the listing data, click the "CREATE" button at the top of the page. This will move your listing to the UNPUBLISHED section where you can add photos, tours etc before publishing it to the portal.

HOW TO EDIT & ADD PHOTOS TO A LISTING:

NOTE - The L&F portal is part of the MoxiWorks listing manager program that we have had adapted for this portal. The program includes some functionality not relevant to our brokerage. As a result, there will be a few messages that won't resonate with our agents. These are highlighted in italics so you know what to disregard! We are working on a customized version for the future.

UNPUBLISHED LISTINGS - Once you have entered the listing details and clicked on the "Create" button, you will be directed to a page where your "Unpublished" listings reside. You will notice a green banner over the image frame showing # days remaining. This is a countdown reminder for your unpublished listings that they will be removed after 60 days if they have not been published to go live on the portal.

EDITING A LISTING - Click on the blue pencil to edit the listing details, then click SAVE at the top right corner.

ADDING PHOTOS - Click on the green film icon to add one or more photos. You can also add a video or a PDF file. Once uploaded, click on the blue PUBLISH button at top. You will receive the following message "Publishing will make this photo gallery available on all brokerage, office, and agent sites for this listing, and will replace all MLS Images. Do you wish to continue?" Just IGNORE THIS MESSAGE and click on "Yes Publish"

PUBLISHING A LISTING - When you are ready to go live with the listing, just click on the blue cloud icon to publish the listing. Click 'Yes' when asked if you want to publish and go live with your listing. After you publish it, the listing will move from the 'Unpublished' tab on the left panel to the 'Active & Pending' tab. There will be a blue banner showing "Non-MLS".

UNPUBLISHING A LISTING - Once you have published the listing, you can remove it from the portal search results but keep it saved in the "Unpublished" area so you can easily re-publish it. To unpublish, just click on the bottom right corner and select "Unpublish" then click "Confirm" when prompted.

DELETING A LISTING - When you listing goes pending, please delete it by clicking the bottom right menu and selecting "Delete".
